How to earn a little extra cash (for people that feel stuck and/or lost)

This blog is not sponsored. This is solely based on personal experience.

Currently USA is feeling the impact of financial depletion. Many of us feel stuck or lost and do not know how to get out of this rut. I have gathered a few tools that may help people find a path or direction towards a little extra income. Though money isn't guaranteed it may help you gain money through ads, views, sponsors, etc.

My advice to you is to change your mentality.

Some of us may feel a little hesitant to post because we feel like maybe our content isn't good enough. Perhaps, the idea that social media has existed for so long there is no more room for me? False, there is always a need for every niche and social media is such a powerful tool. Many people have used it to make a lot of money. You can do it as well if used properly.

There is an unlimited amount of ways to use social media to your advantage here are a few examples on how you can use it.

Canva was used to make this poster for showing purposes only. Here is a link to this post so you can play around with it.

Now I will make another one for a fashion niche

This was edited on Canva I will drop the direct link so you can play around with it.

Are you consistently traveling or going to local places like food, fun activities, and/or even roaming around different parks etc.? Document it. For example if you travel you can make videos like this:

Provide informative videos that include but not limited to location information, food suggestions, visuals, rules so that the people you influence to go can avoid problems, etc.

Along with your videos you can provide blogs, magazines, visuals, etc. to expand your sources of information. The more you provide the more you are allowing yourself to reach audiences of different kinds and it opens you to possibly work with other companies. For example here is a play magazine I created to compliment the Youtube video I posted. The magazine is incomplete and is solely used to provide the image in your head and help you create ideas.

I will provide a link so you can play around with edits to this newsletter:

Perhaps you may not have the income to travel or to participate in the latest trend? No problem. You can make "how to's" for almost anything. For example: Let's say you want to try a new style but you do not quite have the money to try the most popular or expensive company. That is okay. Remember EVERYONE starts somewhere. We will use Gyaru (Japanese fashion) as an example for now. Observe the fashion clothing style, patterns, accessories, makeup, and shoes used. You may be able to find some of your clothes fits similar to what you are looking at. You may also break some of the clothes you already own and/or go to your local goodwills or other shops to use or breakdown and combine them. Think of it as frankenstein fashion. You can do this with almost anything. As you are forming your clothes or accessories make sure you are recording and/or taking photos so you can post your before and after. ALL OF IT IS CONTENT. This idea works for EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. Fixing cars, showing off your art, showing off your collections, gardening, etc. There is literally no limit. Consistency and showing off is the key.

Have original art or characters? You can put them on specific websites. Some websites are weird and will cost you but I was introduced to one by a good friend that is free of charge. This website also gives you store credits so you can sample your items. There is also an option where you are allowed to post your home made items. For free you are allowed to sell up to 50 items. Let me introduce you to Fourthwall.com

https://amis-cuties-shop.fourthwall.com/

For example purposes I posted my website.

There is a neat menu to the right where you can explore different options. This site is a print to order so it is printed at their facility and shipped from their side. This is a decent side hustle if you have no inventory but still want to sell your original works.

This website allows you to modify the webpage and you can connect your own webpage to it as well.

For other income sources you may try Amazonn kdp and create your own physical books or kindle books. Keep in mind that you will need your own barcode number also known as ISBN if you have a storybook. If you use Amazon ISBN generator that book must stay with them and you can not use it anywhere else. So if you have no money and you are generating an Amazon ISBN I suggest you start with notebooks so that you can at least make some income by designing the front, back, and middle pages of the notebook/journal.

When doing anything make sure you are posting pictures of the stuff you have created and post them on multiple social medias to get your name out.

Finally, learn to accept yourself for who you are. As mentioned above I provided you many free sources for you to expand the ways you show yourself or your merchandise. Sometimes, telling people close to you may lead to them being negative or making fun of you for it. If this happens just ignore it. Continue pursuing your goals no matter how silly they may sound to others. There are always people that are willing to watch you and learn from you. Being yourself helps influence others that may also want to pursue the things you are pursuing but are too shy or scared of rejection. Mean people exist everywhere. But the power of your consistency and determination is what will put you above the bullies. A lot of companies take over a decade to reach a high volume of likes and clicks but they reach where they are because they did not let the low views and likes stop them. Be yourself and don't fall into the "fake it til you make it." In the 32yrs of life I have witnessed many "fake it til you make it" fall after some time. They start off strong but as time flies their cover is blown. A lot of companies look for authenticity. Do not allow the noise of bullies or hateful people eat your brain power. Take care of your brain and soul. You got this.
